One retreat attendee told us, “I love how this retreat was about deeper meaning in the Scriptures…. It set my soul on fire, hungering for more.” Thanks be to God!
This event would not have been possible without the committed service of many volunteers and staff who played vital roles in prayer, support, organization, and execution of such a large scale event. I am so tha…

To be honest, I didn’t put a lot of thought into what I was doing as I prepared frittatas for this event. It was just another item I checked off my to-do list that morning. Once I arrived, I kept busy slicing spice cake and filling juice cups. As the residents slowly began to file in and I began to move…

A friend said that it must have felt good to do a wedding—a happy event instead of a sad one for a change. I replied that weddings and funerals actually have two things in common: hope and joy. “OK,” my friend said, “I can understand hope and joy at a wedding, but …

This event marked our Lord’s inclusion in the old covenant and the beginning of his fulfillment of the law on our behalf. According to Jewish custom, the day of circumcision was also the day of his naming. B…
…ho already know Him. When the Wise Men "dismount" their limos, brushing off their Armani suits, they're bowled over. The Savior of Israel is God... in a bouncy seat. What in the world! Before this event in history, everyone except Israel has had to make our best guess at who God is—and now we find him fully revealed, the LORD of Lords, eating mashed peas, changed and bathed by His mother. What k…

Fr. Tripp Prince, Director of Family Ministry, said this about the event,
“This kickoff perfectly captured the heart of Family Ministry at Christ Church: church staff and parents partnering together in the formation of their children into life long disciples of Ch…

Last evening, approximately 300 women attended “Ring in the Holidays,” a brand new women’s ministry event. Fr. Paul, our keynote speaker, focused his teaching on the virtue of gratitude as shown in the Gospel of Luke where Jesus heals ten lepers.
Then Jesus answered, “Were not ten cleansed? Where…
