Volunteer to Help

Christ Church relies on hundreds of volunteers for dozens of roles across all ministries of the church. Everyone can get involved at some level of service to our community.

Your help is greatly appreciated!

Worship Ministry

Commitments 1-2 times per month.

Liturgical worship is a “work of the people” with 475+ opportunities to serve each month. We provide flexible, online scheduling and training, as well as vestments when needed.

  • Altar Guild: Care for and prepare the Lord's Table (women)
  • Acolyte Ministry: Assist the clergy during worship (students)
  • Chalice Bearers: Serve others the cup of the Eucharist
  • Ushers: Assist and care for the worshipping community
  • Greeters: Welcome with a smile and a warm handshake

For more information or to volunteer with Worship Ministry, please contact the Worship Ministry coordinator.

Ministry Projects

One-time or ongoing commitments to various ministry projects.

We maintain a private list of parishioners who have made themselves available as general volunteers. When an opportunity for service arises, we will get in touch.

  • Outreach Initiatives: Local projects to communities in need require workers who are available and/or specially skilled.
  • Mobilization Events: Our church-wide food and gift drives need volunteers to collect, sort, package, and transport items.
  • Special Events Support: Major events often require set up/tear down crews, ambassadors, chaperones, and aids.
  • Administrative Helps: Every department of Christ Church is helped by administrative volunteers who perform manual, clerical, or professional tasks for the church.

Adding your name to our volunteer list does not imply an obligation to serve.
