Invitation is the best way to get connected to the work of Christ Church as a visitor or regular attendee of our parish.
Hosted by our Rector Fr. Paul Donison, Invitation is an opportunity to hear about the mission and vision of Christ Church and how you can join us in the work of discipleship. We will answer your questions about Christ Church, our ministries to adults and families, and what it means to be Anglican. Attendees are served brunch hors d'oeuvres and sit with others who are new to Christ Church as well as staff, lay leaders, and clergy. Professional childcare is available with your reservation.
Invitation is open to anyone. We encourage you to come with your questions and an eagerness to embrace your calling as a disciple of Jesus.
Sunday, March 24 @ 12:30 p.m.
Are you new or visiting Christ Church Plano? Do you have questions about Anglican worship? Would you like to find friends and community here? Join us for a newcomer's brunch.

We answer these questions and many more at Anglican Essentials, a special "show and tell" service of Holy Communion.
Anglican Essentials explains the history and meaning of our services—clothes, gestures, and holy hardware—such as the sign of the cross, the processional, vestments, church architecture, and other implements.
Whether you are a first-time visitor or long-time member, this instructed Eucharist has something for everyone. It is especially suitable for those seeking baptism, confirmation, and membership.
Wednesday, February 27 @ 6:30 p.m.
Curious about Anglicanism? Do you have questions about our tradition that you are too afraid to ask? Find answers about the history and meaning of how we worship Christ during Holy Communion.
An 8-week course exploring the beliefs and practices most central to our faith, Foundations equips you for a life of discipleship to Jesus.
Foundations focuses on basic Christian doctrine and practice from an Anglican perspective. The course is taught by The Rev. Bryan Biba with guest speaking by Rector Paul Donison. Following the church’s great tradition of catechesis, participants will receive systematic instruction in the Holy Scriptures, The Creeds, The Lord’s Prayer, and the Ten Commandments.
Foundations is required for all those who wish to receive Holy Baptism, Confirmation, and Reception into the Anglican Communion, including parents who wish to baptize their children.
Foundations is open to anyone who seeks to reaffirm their discipleship and is especially suitable for those who are new to Christ Church.
