The biblical Festival of First Fruits culminated on the Day of Pentecost. The festival was an occasion for believers to bring a portion of their harvest to the Lord before they enjoyed what He had graciously provided.
Christ Church parishioners and members have a similar opportunity. On Sunday, June 4, you are invited to bring a special financial gift—a first fruits offering—celebrating the Lord’s provision to your family as the summer begins.
So before your summer plans get underway, please ask the Lord for what He is placing on your heart to give to support His work at Christ Church. Every summer ministry here, from VBS and Camp, to Kids in Need and Guatemala, relies upon the generosity of our parish family.
