DNOW 2018: Easter Grace in a Life of Lent
Jesus was not a naive man. He was keenly aware that our lives are riddled with trauma, anxiety, pain, and grief—much of life feels like Lent. Yet the voice of Jesus resounds through the corridors of time, and speaks to the deepest pains we experience. This DNOW our guest speaker, The Rev. Ethan Magness, will be speaking on how Jesus interacts with our Lenten lives.
DNOW is a big tradition at Student Ministry that students look forward to every year. Through biblical teaching, engaging workshops, faithful prayer, awesome worship music, crazy games, and lots of time spent in community we draw closer to God and grow together in this unique in-house retreat weekend.
Students stay with their small groups in parishioner host homes where they form tight bonds of community and discipleship. Small groups are led by college leaders: Student Ministry alumni who join us as mentors, discussion leaders, and friends.
Part of the beauty of DNOW is that it happens in our own homes and neighborhoods. If you are able to offer hospitality as a host home, provide meals for host homes, or act as an adult driver to transport our students to and from these homes, please contact our admin Jackie Goralczyk: JackieG@ChristChurchPlano.org
We look forward to seeing you this February for DNOW!
