RSVP for Gateway: Newcomer's Lunch »
Small groups have always been a central aspect of both Christian formation and fellowship at Christ Church Plano. All small groups at Christ Church are defined by three practices:
There are multiple ways to get connected to a small group at Christ Church:
Hosted by our Rector Fr. Paul Donison, Gateway is a sit-down-over-lunch opportunity to hear about the founding vision of Christ Church and how you can join us in the work of local and global discipleship. We will answer your questions about Christ Church, our ministries to adults and families, and what it means to be Anglican.
Whether you are simply seeking to learn more about Christ Church or you are ready to get more involved, there is no better opportunity than Gateway. Gateway is open to anyone. We encourage you to come with your questions and an eagerness to embrace your calling as a disciple of Jesus.

Anyone interested in trying out or starting a new small group is invited to come to OnRamp.
Led by Hospitality Minister Doug Lauver, OnRamp is a small group that always welcomes newcomers. Every week the group shares a light meal, and enjoys fellowship, scripture, discussion, and praying for the needs of all who come. It's an interesting mix of ages, nationalities and backgrounds, single and married. There is no advance preparation, no formal teaching, and no homework. It can be a place for you to start, or a place to stay.
OnRamp meets at the church in Room 202 of the Adult Education Building every Monday evening except holidays. Contact Doug Lauver below for the meeting schedule. Food and fellowship start at 6:30, and the meeting starts around 7, ending before 8:30.
Childcare is available by reservation at Nursery@ChristChurchPlano.org.
