Partnering with you in your child's formation
Small groups have always been a central aspect of both Christian formation and fellowship at Christ Church Plano. All small groups at Christ Church are defined by three practices:
There are multiple ways to get connected to a small group at Christ Church:
These convenient groups meet every Sunday in the Adult Education Building during both the 9:15 and 11:00 a.m. services for bible study, prayer, and fellowship. While anyone is welcome to join, they are ideal for people who find it difficult to be involved at Christ Church during the week.
If you are interested in giving Sunday Fellowship Groups a try, simply make your way over to the Adult Education Building either before or after attending worship. There you will be greeted by staff and volunteers.
For more information, please contact Fr. Bryan Biba.
Anyone interested in trying out or starting a new small group is invited to come to OnRamp.
Led by Hospitality Minister Doug Lauver, OnRamp is a small group that always welcomes newcomers. Every week the group shares a light meal, and enjoys fellowship, scripture, discussion, and praying for the needs of all who come. It's an interesting mix of ages, nationalities and backgrounds, single and married. There is no advance preparation, no formal teaching, and no homework. It can be a place for you to start, or a place to stay.
OnRamp meets at the church in Room 202 of the Adult Education Building every other Monday evening except holidays. Contact Doug Lauver below for the meeting schedule. Food and fellowship start at 6:30, and the meeting starts around 7, ending before 8:30.
Childcare is available by reservation at Nursery@ChristChurchPlano.org.
